The CandleLit Box Unboxing!

I was so excited to receive this box in the mail!! It is a brand new book subscription box that the creator sent to me. Of course I’m going to give you my complete honest opinion.

You can watch my full unboxing video below, but I will give  you some highlights here, and let you know what it is about.

Basically The CandleLit Box is a book subscription box that caters to the whole experience of reading. It is a box that wants you to be comfortable and feel good when reading the book that is included. It also features books by black and brown authors, which is what also makes it amazing because of its commitment to deliver books by diverse authors.  I would definitely check out their website here and reclaim your time!

BookTube-A-Thon 2017 Wrap-Up

I completed my first read-a-thon!! I participated in BookTube-A-Thon hosted by Ariel Bissett on YouTube. You can check out my other post with my TBR that has all the information on the read-a-thon linked in it here.

I really enjoyed doing it as it pushed me to read more books and who doesn’t love to do that?! I also was able to complete every challenge, other than finish 7 books in one week, but I was really close! I didn’t necessarily fall in love with every book that I picked up, but I was glad I was able to cross them off of my ever growing TBR! I will have individual videos of reviews for each book coming soon. Until then, take a look at what I completed!! Until next time,

July Book Wrap-Up

I can’t believe July is gone already!! Summer vacations and traveling are leaving us, well those who don’t work year round. It’s time for back to school sales and for fall to begin. July was a good month for me in regards to reading. I finished a lot of books, mainly because BookTube-A-Thon pushed me to do so, but I also had time on my hands.  I also finally decided to give Audible a try and that was the best decision ever! It allows me to continue “reading” a book when I can’t physically hold the book, iPad, or my kindle. Here’s what I read in July!! Look out for my reviews for these books that I will link here as they are written. Also don’t forget to subscribe to my BookTube channel, which will have even more in depth reviews and opinions and are open for discussions!!
