Let me start out by saying that I love Mindy Kaling! I cannot say that I
loved this book. I thought it was alright, maybe even good. It was all about how Mindy Kaling became where she is today. It makes good points, and it also directs the reader to understand that not everything happens over night. It also shows how just because they are stars now, it doesn’t mean they’ve always been stars.
I feel like if you’re going through the list of books of female comedians you should read this. I also love to support my curvy, brown girls. She starts out by saying that this book is not a self help book or is meant to give you advice, and I’m glad that she does, or else I would have read it completely different. I’m glad I read it while on vacation. Until next time,
