Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

For my English class, like I said before I had to read Wuthering Heights. This novel was very different than what I’m used to reading, but it was still a decent novel.

In the novel the main character Heathcliff becomes an unexpected stranger, and soon to be family member of the family who lives in Wuthering Heights. It was due to Heathcliff’s vindictive attitude and relationships that lead to the downfall of Wuthering Heights.

The only problem I had with the novel was the constant switching of narrators, sometimes making it hard to tell who was talking and to whom. When you payed attention to the narrators it was not hard to understand. I definitely recommend reading Wuthering Heights because it helps to provide new insight in how to read novels. Wuthering Heights makes you have to pay attention to the setting and understand how influential it can be to the overall story.

Until next time, keep turing the pages
