Take a break from reading!
With the school year going on and reading my Biology textbook every night I had to take a break from reading for pleasure. What I have been doing though is trying to get my own small business off the ground by selling mark. products. One of the main things that I like about mark. products are the hookups. Hookups make you able to carry around eyeliner, concealer, lipgloss, mascara, and brushes in an easy to carry around container a little bit bigger than a lipgloss tube.

Spying in High Heels by Gemma Halliday
This book is the perfect murder mystery for girls. There’s fashion, there’s murder, there’s romance there is everything that you can possibly ask for in Gemma Halliday’s Spying in High Heels.
I took this with me on my cruise on my kindle and I could not put it down. The book immediately gets going and you want to know what the main klutzy character, Maddie, does when trying to solve a murder by herself. Of course the police was involved, but she figured that she was better than the police and could do it herself, sometimes getting herself into more trouble than was worth, but hey she found herself a hot cop… who could ask for anything else? Did I mention her stuck in the ‘80s mom and her could possibly be gay step-dad, and a real dad who ran out on her with a show girl? Yes this book has a lot more than just a mystery, but the mystery is good too.
This might seem like a short review but I don’t want to give anything away in this book. This mystery has twists and turns throwing the reader a surprise. It also reminds girls that it’s okay to look cute and still be able to do amazing things and snag a hot guy as well.
As soon as I finished reading it I got on my laptop and bought the next one so I could continue reading this wonderful series. Seeing a trend here? My thing right now is definitely mysteries.
I highly highly highly recommend this book because it was just that good. If you have a kindle, get it on the kindle if you’re not sure because it is very cheap, but like I said I got the next one immediately after I was finished.
