Ultimate Kelly Moore Bag Collection

As all of you should know I have a love/hate relationship with Kelly Moore Bags. I love the bags and my bank account hates that I have bought so many of them. I wanted to finally do a round up of all of the KMBs that I own, and the results might show a slight obsession.

This post is in no way sponsored and I have bought every single one of these bags by myself. If anyone from the Kelly Moore team sees this post and wants to gift me The Tourist, I wouldn’t be mad about it hahahaha, but seriously… please! Of course you can buy Kelly Moore bags here (not an affiliate link).

You can check out my video of all the bags here, and I’ve placed it down below as well. Some of the bags in the video have been discontinued, but you might be able to find some of them on eBay or on the used camera website KEH. I do have some individual unboxings of some of the bags, and I have blog posts on others. I will link them in the blog post as well. If you have any questions feel free to ask me in the comments, or shoot me an email, or slide into the DMs.

It’s a pretty long video, but I start off with the smallest items and I work my way up to the big ones, so let’s dig into them! Also I did not get all of these items at full price! I wait until she has a sale, some dollars off, or a percentage off, and then I pounce on them! They’re expensive bags, so I do have to save up and plan for them. Shopping around the holidays is a good time to get them.

I know! Way too many bags, don’t even know what to do with them. Most of the time, I don’t and they’re hanging up, but often times each different bag has their own purpose. I’ve traveled as a carry on with The Libby and the B-Hobo bag and the Luna bag have been my go to for years!

Of course I didn’t get all of these bags in a day, and have been shopping for Kelly Moore bags for what feels like 10 years. My camera set ups have changed over the years, but these bags have stayed the same. They always have so many pockets and protect my gear like a champ. They’ve been all over the world and none of them have broken down on me. To get my opinion on each bag check out my video on my youtube channel, which I’ve posted down below! Let me know what you think and tell me if you own any! Until next time,

Kelly Moore Wearable Wallet and Gadget Clutch

I did it. I bought another Kelly Moore bag. I believe that it is going to be my last one for awhile. I bought the two smallest bags and most affordable ones on the website.  Let’s get into it and talk about the Gadget Clutch first.

First, let’s talk about price. The Gadget Clutch comes in at $69. I definitely believe that there are cheaper and better options out there, like the one here, but if you have a Kelly Moore problem like I do you might want to buy it.

The Gadget Clutch

The Gadget Clutch, GC, can be carried by itself as a clutch, for a night out or an afternoon walking around, but its main purpose is to organize your items. It is best for your extra cords, hard drives, and other items. I don’t really like the loop aspect of the cords, it doesn’t keep them in well when moving it around.

If you start to add too much stuff in it, it does get hard to close. It is a good size though to slide into any other bags or backpacks that you might carry around. Because I don’t use it as a wallet I only put business cards in the card slots mainly because I don’t see me just carrying this around on a day to day basis. As one of the more affordable items I couldn’t pass up getting them to try and add to my organization because I do love pouches.

How I stuff my gadget clutch

I’m not very good at looping the cords around those snaps and I haven’t figured out a better way, so everything still seems like a mess to me and doesn’t hold as many cords as I need it to. On top of having my Apple Mouse on one side I often times have my external hard drive on the other. You can see my battery pack hiding in the back that I keep on me as well. It is a good place to store extra memory cards and filters for your lenses as well. As I mentioned earlier I do believe that there are better alternatives that fit my needs that I linked above.

Other organizational alternatives found on Amazon

If you like Kelly Moore bags then this might be a great present for yourself or for a loved one. It gets the job done and fits the Kelly Moore aesthetic completely. With its leather and canvas material it is sure to last for a long time.

Now moving on the to the Wearable Wallet. The Wearable Wallet is in essence a fanny pack, an $89 fanny pack. I very nice fanny pack, but could possibly even not be as practical as a fanny pack because you can’t dump nearly as much stuff into it. It looks almost like the Gadget Clutch, but it has a strap that you can either wear cross body or around your waist. I like to wear it around my waist and slide it into one of my belt loops if I’m wearing jeans. The strap is adjustable, so that it can fit any size waist.

Kelly Moore Wearable Wallet

It is made with leather and canvas just like the Gadget Clutch, but it doesn’t open all the way, so that you can keep whatever contents inside of the bag. It just has the top flap and a zipper with an outside pocket that you can slide small thing in as well.

The inside of the fanny pack also has the card slots that we see in so many Kelly Moore bags. There’s a small mesh pocket with a zipper that I have kept chapstick and lipstick in before. The inside is large enough for me to carry my phone and an external battery pack as well as my GoPro and a kindle. If you have any sort of point and shoot camera like a Sony RX100 or a Canon G7X those will fit nicely inside as well.

Both of these bags would be great gifts for anyone. They’re a good introduction to the Kelly Moore brand and their quality of bags. I would definitely recommend these as gifts or something to treat yourself with. I’m not going to say that they’re the most economically friendly option because they’re not, and there are other options out there, but they are made with great quality and look good while using or wearing them. Below you’ll find an unboxing of these items where you can see them in some more detail. What did you think of these items? Anything to add to your wishlist? Have you tried any other Kelly Moore products? Let me know down in the comments! Until next time,

Wanderlust: Camera Bag

IMG_0890
Now, I cannot say that I am a professional photographer, but I do love taking pictures. I’ve always had a weak spot when it comes to camera gear, and getting a new camera. There is definitely a shelf in my house with the evolution of cameras. When you’re not a professional photographer you don’t need to pack the world with you. You just need to pack the equipment you absolutely need.  Also don’t forget the bag! I take all of my equipment in a Kelly Moore bag, so I look good while I’m touring!
Let’s start with the easy stuff. Your phone!
Smartphone cameras these days have amazing lenses and definition, and apps that can enhance the already beautiful picture that you have taken. Also if you’re taking pictures with your phone you’ll always keep track of it, so that you can take more. With the cloud it’s even easier to save your pictures, and not worry about losing them. Having your phone makes for quick and easy pictures, and don’t be afraid to take a selfie!
On your phone you can also text, post, tweet, instagram, flickr, what ever you want to do with your picture, immediately! Creates for instant jealous from your friends and family as they watch you on vacation. Keep your phone handy and ready to snap those moments.
Next on board for me is my DSLR Nikon D3300 camera.
It is a DSLR, which means that it is not a point and shoot, and it does have interchangeable lenses. I love this camera because is newer, unlike my Rebel Xsi, and it is also a lot lighter for a DSL. It also has some awesome features including an external plug in that allows me to send my pictures from my camera to my smartphone.
For this particular trip we’re going to be doing a lot of walking and going to a lot of different types of places, so I am traveling with 2 extra lenses on top of the one that came with the camera. I’ve got my “nifty fifty” lens and my 18-250 lens for when we’re out with landscapes.
As I said I’m not a professional photographer by any means, but I do like to try and have the equipment I need to be able to bring home memories of this amazing trip! Until next time,
