Cassandra Clare just loves to make me have to keep reading her books. Tessa, Will, and Jem are at it again and now there is so much more going on in London. There are unanswered questions about The Magister, of who he is, where he is, and why is he doing the things that he’s doing. Tessa is falling more and more in love with Will and Jem, and Will is doing what he can to push her away. The fate of the Institute and how it is run is put into question and more details about Will’s past is put into the forefront. Also The Lightwoods’ with all of their pure bred breeding turn out not to be so pure as well.

Water for Elephants, Sara Gruen
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen is definitely something to be read. In this very compelling novel a young man Jacob Jankowski’s life changes dramatically and in an instant. At the same time his life seems like it is done with and over he minds a way to change it around. Jacob does something that every child has threatened to do and that every parent has suggested at some point. He runs away and joins the circus. The circus is something that every child dreams of being a part of because of the glamor and all of the wild animals that are dreamt to be pets. Soon does he find out that the circus is not everything that he has imagined. On his adventure to find out who he is and what he stands for, he also finds love and a higher sense of purpose and friendship to the ones around him.
I highly recommend this novel because it provides an insight to what it is like to turn your life around. When everything was going for the worst Jacob found a way to make everything better. I recommend this to anyone who is trying to take life as it comes to him or her. I of course recommend it before seeing the movie. Until next time,
Keep turning the pages,

Spying in High Heels by Gemma Halliday
“A wonderful thing about a book, in contrast to a computer screen, is that you can take it to bed with you.” Daniel J. Boorstin
Enchanted Inc. by Shanna Swendson
More and Less…
So… I ended up reading a lot more books than expected, but not all of them were on my list.
I didn’t read Kite Runner and I only read a little bit of Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder. What I did read though was amazing.
I ended up reading Spying in High Heels, Undercover in High Heels(both by Gemma Halliday), Once Upon Stilettos, and Enchanted Inc (both by Shanna Swendson).
These 4 books were perfect for the cruise. They provided me romance, murder, mystery, excitement, and the compelling urge to not put the books down, though I was reading all of these on my kindle.
Look for more posts on these 4 books as I write what I thought about the book in it’s own book review.
