Neferet has finally been defeated by Zoey Redbird and her friends with the help of some unlikely friends. Or, so they think. For the time being Neferet is not an immediate threat, but they know she is not gone for good. Grandma Redbird is safe, and the open house at the Tulsa House of Night is really hitting it off. The young priestesses and prophetesses are starting to come into their roles, and see how hard it is to be a leader. Zoey most of all. With a ll of the building frustration and pressures Zoey is starting to lose herself, and her demeanor. With the rise of Old Magik again there are more forces at work than they have ever had to face.
There’s so much happening in this novel, building up to the final one that I don’t want to give anything away! So, sorry for the vague descriptions. I will say that you learn a lot more about Neferet and her past, and once again the struggles of love are evident. I could tell this novel was a build up one, and I appreciated it for that. I cannot wait to read the last one!! Look out for a Give Away!! Also don’t forget to follow me on twitter at @90sbornreader to follow a House of Night tweet-a-thon that is going to be happening soon!! If you haven’t caught up on the rest of the novels do it soon! It’s time for this series to come to a close, but don’t worry the authors have plenty of more for you to read. Until next time,
