Happy October!

Happy October!!

I can’t believe that there are only 2 months left in the year!! That’s crazy and it’s officially holiday season!! I know a lot of people are getting ready for Halloween and all of their spooky reads, but I’m not going that route. First, I don’t really do spooky reads and thrillers, the second I really need to read some books that I already own.

So, that is what I will be focusing on this month. I don’t really do TBRs as you know, but I do have some books on my physical shelves and my e-reader shelves.

Some of those books include

Kingdom of Souls by Rena Barron

Crier’s War by Nina Varela

Guilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi

Serpent and Dove  by Shelby Mahurin

Slay by Britney Morris

I know I have more books that I need to read that you can see on my Instagram page, but these are some of the ones that I really want to get to next.

I’m trying really hard to not buy any books this month and prepare for the holidays!! What are some of the books that you have planned for this month?! Are you going spooky, participating in ReadAThons, or just keeping is business as usual? Until next time,

July ReadAThon | FuckAThon!

I am trying to participate in another readathon this month. So far… I’m behind. What’s new with that though. This month I’m participating in the Fuck-A-Thon that is hosted by Noria at Noria Reads on Youtube. The Reading Challenge has prompts that basically are there to challenge the social norms. We have all month to read these books, so I need to get on that. There is also a group book as well! I have put my TBR down below and also attached Noria’s original video. I’m thinking about vlogging for this challenge, but considering I’m already behind that might be a lot haha. What do you think of this new reading challenge?! Let me know down in the comments or on my video! Until next time,

Vacation TBR – Cruise!!

It’s time for the first vacation of the year!!!! I’m so excited!! If you follow my vlog then you know how much I love to travel, also if you follow my blog you’ve seen some previous posts as well. For this vacation I will be going on a cruise with my mom as well as some family friends, so I typically just call this vacation the “family” vacation. We will be spending 10 days on the Celebrity Reflection going to the Caribbean and I can’t wait to have the reading time associated with vacationing. So that leads me to my vacation TBR!!
  1. This is kind of a cheat because I’m already almost done with it, but it is Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
  2. American Street by Ibi Zoboi, which I think I have included on all of my vacation TBRs thus far and I have not finished it
  3. Strange The Dreamer by Lani Taylor
  4. Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
  5. The 14th Colony by Steve Berry
  6. And if I get around to it as in if I have been spending all of my time out by the pool, I will read This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab
Of course I will be reading all of these books on my Kindle Oasis while I’m gone because packing books takes up too much room and I’m already an over packer, so my Kindle and I get a long amazingly!  All of the books are linked as well! Do you like to read on vacation? What are some of your favorite vacation reads?! I seem to always read a Cotton Malone book on every trip. Let me know what you think! Until next time,
