Vacation TBR – Cruise!!

It’s time for the first vacation of the year!!!! I’m so excited!! If you follow my vlog then you know how much I love to travel, also if you follow my blog you’ve seen some previous posts as well. For this vacation I will be going on a cruise with my mom as well as some family friends, so I typically just call this vacation the “family” vacation. We will be spending 10 days on the Celebrity Reflection going to the Caribbean and I can’t wait to have the reading time associated with vacationing. So that leads me to my vacation TBR!!
  1. This is kind of a cheat because I’m already almost done with it, but it is Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
  2. American Street by Ibi Zoboi, which I think I have included on all of my vacation TBRs thus far and I have not finished it
  3. Strange The Dreamer by Lani Taylor
  4. Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
  5. The 14th Colony by Steve Berry
  6. And if I get around to it as in if I have been spending all of my time out by the pool, I will read This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab
Of course I will be reading all of these books on my Kindle Oasis while I’m gone because packing books takes up too much room and I’m already an over packer, so my Kindle and I get a long amazingly!  All of the books are linked as well! Do you like to read on vacation? What are some of your favorite vacation reads?! I seem to always read a Cotton Malone book on every trip. Let me know what you think! Until next time,

Is booktube and book blogging stressful?!

There has been a lot of videos going around about people being stressed doing something that they love. Does that really mean that you should be doing it?? There is never a reason to be stressed doing something that makes you happy. Take the time out to rest and enjoy your family and try and see what is making it stressful, can you avoid it and continue to be happy? Here are my thoughts, and I want to hear yours!! Until next time,

The CandleLit Box Unboxing!

I was so excited to receive this box in the mail!! It is a brand new book subscription box that the creator sent to me. Of course I’m going to give you my complete honest opinion.

You can watch my full unboxing video below, but I will give  you some highlights here, and let you know what it is about.

Basically The CandleLit Box is a book subscription box that caters to the whole experience of reading. It is a box that wants you to be comfortable and feel good when reading the book that is included. It also features books by black and brown authors, which is what also makes it amazing because of its commitment to deliver books by diverse authors.  I would definitely check out their website here and reclaim your time!
