Travel Tuesdays | Key West, Florida

I am so excited to be starting this on my channel and on my blog!! It’s something I’ve thought about doing for a while, and haven’t actually put into motion [ read I have a lot of video from previous trips that I haven’t done anything with, and I would like to do something with said videos ]. My idea behind doing this is to share some tips and tricks that I have learned through traveling. Now, I’m not a professional traveler by any means and we all know that this is not a travel blog, but it is something that I absolutely love to do when I’m not at my day job…or night job… depending on my schedule and my life.
I need one of these wrap around balcony porches in my life
The first video that I’m going to share is a throwback video to when Eric an I were on a cruise through the caribbean over the holidays. Our first stop on our vacation was to go to Key West, which is technically still in Florida, but it’s closer to Cuba than the continental US. You can click here to see my vlog or you can scroll down to see it below. I’m sorry that it’s a day late, I was good about scheduling it on Youtube and not on here! I also have almost the full tour of Ernest Hemingway’s house in Key West and if you would like for me to post that on youtube down in the comments below.
Who wouldn’t dream of having a studio like this?
If there are any specific ideas that you would like for me to talk about? Any questions that you may have? Please let me know! This is going to be a lot of fun!! Until next time,
It’s good to have someone who puts up with your reading whims

Hey everyone!! Welcome back to my blog! Today I have another unboxing to show you, this one coming from LitJoy and their March edition box, Poor Unfortunate Souls. This box has a huge Little Mermaid component as the book in it is something like a retelling. Many of the items in the box are Litjoy Exclusives and did not come from individual shops. I will try to label the shops with the items below! For a full unboxing you can either click here, or scroll down below in order to watch my unboxing of it on my BookTube Channel!

March 2018 Fairyloot Unboxing!

Another month another bunch of unboxings! This months March Fairyloot featured a lot of literary “memorable moments” to go with their theme of their two year anniversary! It featured items from Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Game of Thrones, and The Mortal Instrument Series. You can view my full unboxing here on my Youtube channel!
First up we received Cork Bunting by Paladone, which if you don’t know what that it is, it is a cork board that you can pin things on. These came in flag shapes!
Secondly we received a Rune Ceremony Scarf by FictionTea Designs and it is absolutely gorgeous
Third was a Goblet of Fire Candle by Paper Flames Candle Co to represent the Triwizard Tournament in harry Potter
Next up was Bilbo’s Birthday Cake Vegan Soap by Geeky Clean that smells like vanilla and strawberry. It looks kind of ombre, but vanilla is not my favorite, so I don’t like the smell that much
I was excited for this Toast to the Warden of the North Hot Chocolate by Eponine as I love hot chocolate!
Our book this month is State of Sorrow by Melinda Salisbury! The book sounds fantastic and the cover is beautiful. I know a lot of people have read it and have enjoyed the book. A couple of people have told me to read this book. There’s magic involved and politics and so much more. The edition received in the Fairyloot box was hardback, and the normal copy is paperback!
I do have to say that living in the US makes this box really expensive compared to others. This was not my favorite box by Fairyloot and is probably my last box by them I’m going to get. I at least canceled the subscription and will by only the boxes that interest me.
Let me know what you think of the Fairyloot Box for this month! I also have put my unboxing video below so that you can see the items! Until next time

January 2018 Owlcrate “Fearsome Fairytales” Unboxing!

Hi everyone I’ve got another exciting Owlcrate box to show you and talk to you about today! January’s theme was Fearsome Fairytales and it was a good box. My favorite part of this box was the pillowcase and the book also sounded really amazing too. If you don’t want to read the post, I’ve done a full unboxing video on my Booktube channel that is linked here and down below!

Let’s dive into these amazing items!

Speaking of pillow case we got a beautiful Sleeping Beauty inspired full sized (fits a typical bed pillow) pillow case by Stella Bookish Art

We got Hanzel and Gretel Gingerbread smelling wax melts by Spireside. I’m not sure if they smell like gingerbread, but they definitely smell really sweet

Owlcrate made a wax/essential oil burner to go with the wax melts or any essential oils or aromatherapy oils you may have. It goes perfectly with the theme of this box

We got a handmade Rapunzel inspired bracelet by Author Adornements

And finally a collectible pin and postcard by Spykles

Our book for January was The Cruel Prince by Holly Black! I have done a book review of it that will be linked here!!

What did you think of the January Fearsome Fairytales Box?! Until next time,

Vacation TBR – Cruise!!

It’s time for the first vacation of the year!!!! I’m so excited!! If you follow my vlog then you know how much I love to travel, also if you follow my blog you’ve seen some previous posts as well. For this vacation I will be going on a cruise with my mom as well as some family friends, so I typically just call this vacation the “family” vacation. We will be spending 10 days on the Celebrity Reflection going to the Caribbean and I can’t wait to have the reading time associated with vacationing. So that leads me to my vacation TBR!!
  1. This is kind of a cheat because I’m already almost done with it, but it is Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
  2. American Street by Ibi Zoboi, which I think I have included on all of my vacation TBRs thus far and I have not finished it
  3. Strange The Dreamer by Lani Taylor
  4. Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
  5. The 14th Colony by Steve Berry
  6. And if I get around to it as in if I have been spending all of my time out by the pool, I will read This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab
Of course I will be reading all of these books on my Kindle Oasis while I’m gone because packing books takes up too much room and I’m already an over packer, so my Kindle and I get a long amazingly!  All of the books are linked as well! Do you like to read on vacation? What are some of your favorite vacation reads?! I seem to always read a Cotton Malone book on every trip. Let me know what you think! Until next time,
